The MultiBud-24 weighing system, paired with the AutoBag and AutoJar machines, meets the industry’s demand for precise weight distribution and bud-size management in cannabis flower packaging. With its 24-head system, MultiBud-24 enables producers to fill jars and bags with a customizable ratio of large and small buds, creating a visually appealing product that also meets regulatory weight standards.

Setting a New Standard with MAP Technology

The AutoBag and AutoJar machines are optionally equipped with Hefestus’s Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) technology—refined by the team for over three decades in the food industry—to preserve cannabis flower freshness.

MAP technology creates a controlled atmosphere by sealing nitrogen and other gases within each package, which slows oxidation and extends shelf life. This ensures that the potency, aroma, and visual quality of cannabis are maintained throughout distribution.
